Still life setup for lemon still life

Setup using artificial light. Lights on the easle were Philips tld 930 (on each side), on the subject tld 830 (lit from the ceiling). The former turned out to be a bit more red in color, hence I saw a slight greenish cast in the painting. To emphasise the light I also put a spot light on the subject...

Another still life test in the open air today. Far to hot outside to
paint unfortunately, and too many horses.......

Night Light

Visited the last day of exhibition 'Nachtlicht' @ museum Flehite in
Amersfoort (dont confuse with Apeldoorn) with fellow artist Judith Steenkamer... The exhibition
featured a superb painting by Nicolaas van der Waay. The regular
collection also had some interesting paintings....

Plein Air Still life painting

Did this little test today: painting a still life in the open air. It
went well, apart from the rain and wind. Hope to do at least one
larger one for my upcoming open studio exhibition...
